You know that feeling you get when you're in-love but you're not sure whether it is love or infatuation? Well, there I is was lost in my many thoughts of me and "The guy" oh by the way his name is Amogelang Qubeka, Amo was my world and seeing him always made my day.

There I was daydreaming away about our perfect happy ending when I heard dad shout "Zara!!" Me:"Goodness dad! There is no need for you to shout like that, really!!" Dad:"Zara I have to get to work, get off already..." Me:"Ooopsie! Dad I forgot to tell you to please drop me off at Caltex, there is something I need to buy for school, please?" Dad:"Zara you're all over the place, your mom should start dropping you off at school, I'm done being your chauffeur." Me:"Hence why I told you to get me a car this year." Said that with a huge grin on my face. Dad dropped me off at Caltex, I made my way to the toilets. There was no way I was going to walk through the school gates wearing such a hideous skirt, I have a reputation to maintain. As I got out of the toilet, there, right in front of me was Amo and he stopped and looked at me straight in my eyes and went: "Hey Beautiful, looking sexy as always." Gave me a shy sexy smile and walked past me. I was so out of breathe that I didn't even respond to his greeting. I turned and screamed:"Hey Amo!!!" He turned, smiled, winked and walked away. Now that really caught me of guard and at least he saw me in my sexy uniform.

I walked to school, it was not that far from Caltex. When I got to the gate, Busi and Olivia were waiting for me (My friends), never have I ever been so excited to tell them such amazing news, I mean I am progressing with Amo. Me:"Hey ladies." Olivia:"Hey hun, sexy as always I see..." Busi:"Zara did you really have to go that short? Goodness, that skirt girl." Me:"Okay already with my sexiness and my short skirt. Ladies I have joyful news this morning." I said that with a huge smile on face, I don't think they've ever seen me this happy. Olivia:"News? So early in the morning? It gotta be Great news." Me:"So when I left home this morning dad made me wear my long skirt, knowing me very well, I do not do long so I packed my short skirt in my school and obeyed dad and wore the long one..." Busi:"We get it, you wore a long skirt to school and you changed when you got here. Big deal we all do that. So that's your joyful news?" She said that with an attitude. See me and Busi never see eye to eye because we're always competing with each other on all levels so we always fight over petty things, how we're still FRIENDS? I don't know either. Olivia:"Let her finish Busi, come on now." Me:"It's fine Livia, now to cut my story short. I bumped into Amo at Caltex by the toilets and he...? Busi:"Really Zara? You need to get over this guy already, like why don't you get it through your head that he doesn't want you? Excuse me I do not have time for this, besides the siren just went, let's go we've got freshman to meet." She took off pulling Livia with her, I was so disappointed by the way Busi just shut me down like that, usually she's always excited to hear about my Amo news but today she was acting different. Anyway, I made my way to the school hall, time to welcome the Freshman (Grade 8s).

Now that we are Seniors it was the school's tradition for Seniors to sit at the gallery of the school hall and all the other grades had to wait for us to enter the hall first. In all excitement and in the midst of what went down with Busi at the gate, I was pleased to see Lindo (She's also one of my friends) so I went and sat next to her. She was happy to see me, gave me a warm hug. I could tell that she missed me and I missed her too (Lindo is my best Friend), the holidays were that long.
