I got inside the house and ran to my bedroom, luckily mom was not home yet so I didn’t have any explaining to do for being home this early. I threw my bag on the floor and sat on the bed while I browsed through my social pages. A text popped up on my screen from that unknown number again while I was busy with my news feeds on Facebook...

Number: Hey… Me: Hi, who is this? And where did you get my digits? Number: It’s Sands, I hope you’re not still mad at me? Me: You have got to be kidding me, that’s all you care about? Me being mad? Sands: Look Zee I am really sorry about how everything played out, I didn’t anticipate any of the things that happened today with regards to what I told you about Amo and Busi. Me: And you couldn’t even tell me to my face? Are you that weak? And I thought you and Busi had a thing? Sands: I didn’t want to do it to your face because I didn’t feel like I owed you anything but after I saw you walking with Amo, I thought you two were dating seeing that you were holding hands and all, so I felt you deserved to know the truth as his “girlfriend”. Me: Well you didn’t have to because we are not dating, and Amo can get with whomever he wants. I have no hold over him whatsoever! Sands: So tell me then, why were you crying so hysterically? Me: It’s nothing to concern yourself with. Bye. I switched off my data. Who does he think he is being so invasive and meddling in my business like we are friends? I hate Sands for what he did, he had no right to tell me about Busi and Amo. Like he came into my life and everything just went down south, why would he do something so crude? * * * Back at school:

It was now sports period and the Bratz were preparing for their concert which is to take place on Friday. Lindo and the girls (Busi and Livia) were chilling at the pavilion talking about Zee, Liv was disturbed by the way Zee ran off crying, they were trying to figure out what could have gotten her so mad and sad? Not even once did they think Zee knows about what happened between Amo and Busi. Lindo:” I think I am going to call her…” Busi:” You guys are just over exaggerating. Zee is old enough to know when she needs a shoulder to cry on and right now she wants to be alone so let her be…” She said rather annoyed by the whole thing. Lindo:” Honestly I don’t even know why we are still hanging around with you Busi, you betrayed Zee and she needs to know.” Busi:” I betrayed no one Lindo! Amo is single and ready to mingle so when the opportunity presented itself I was there to deliver.” She rolled her eyes and shrugged her shoulders. Liv:” I don’t believe you yaz Busi, like when did you become a bitch?” Busi:” When did you become a saint?” she said sarcastically. Liv:” Don’t get me started dear, I know more about you than you do about me…” Busi:” You guys are unbelievable hey, ganging up on me like this? I’m not the enemy here.” She held her chest in disappointment. Lindo:” You became the enemy when you dropped your panties for Amo.” She got up and left to go make a phone call, Busi looked at her in disbelief, she was lost for words after what Lindo had said to her. Liv:” Don’t look so shocked Busi, like I don’t even understand how you can sleep with a guy who isn’t your boyfriend. To think you’ve been holding out on Kay… I’m shocked to say the least.” She shook her head in disbelief. Busi:” Liv you wouldn’t understand even if you tried.” Liv:” Understand what exactly? The fact that your boyfriend hasn’t had sex with you but you had sex with the one guy that your friend is head over heels over and is not your boyfriend? Like I am really missing the point.” Busi:” Zee is no friend of mine and I don’t owe hear anything, not even my loyalty. Our so called ‘FRIENDSHIP’ was doomed from the start.” She shouted. Liv:” What about Kay then? Does he even know that you let go of the one thing that he has been trying to score for over 6 months?” Busi:” You know what? Fuck you and your friends. You belong together.” She stood up and left shaking her hips from side to side. Liv:” Wow!!!” Lindo has been trying to call Zee but she hasn’t been picking up her calls. Lindo:” Zee please call me when you get this, I am really worried about you in fact Liv and I are equally worried about you. Let’s talk about whatever it is that is bothering you, please.” She hung up and walked back to sit with Livia.

Sands: How can I mess up something that hasn’t even started? I am in love with Zee and I feel like I have overplayed my hand and everything is just coming back to bite me in the ass. I need to call Amo and see what’s going on between him and Zee because whatever it is, it’s big.

Over the phone: Amo:” Heita.” Sands:” My guy, howzit?” Amo:” ng’grand wena?” Sands:” Shap. You were missing in action today at school Mr President.” Amo:” I had things to do but I’ll be there tomorrow, why you calling bra?” Sands:” Can’t a nigga check up on his homie? Amo:” As long as you are after my woman we are not friends, I thought I made that clear?” Sands:” Which woman might that be?” Amo:” Sands you’re playing with fire and you going to get burnt…” Sands:” My guy I asked you a question…” He said laughing. Amo:” Look I have to go, stay away from my woman if you know what’s good for you!” Sands:” We’ll see about that!” He hang up.

Looks like Amo has challenged me and I guess as much as this is a game to him, to me it’s about winning the love of my life. It’s a good thing that Amo doesn’t know that I know about him and Busi, and to top it all off, I already spilled the beans. Now it’s time for the fireworks.
