January - School re-opens.

Waking up this morning was a drag, oh, how I hate disturbing my beauty rest but otherwise it's back to school and what do you know, I'm a Senior this Year "Hala" you have no idea how excited I am to be in matric. Man, this is going to be the year of all years, just you wait and see. Took a nice long bath, had to make sure all is order for this day, it had to start on a good note. so I shaved my legs, shaved my... you know what! armpits as well. A lady always has to groom herself, you'll never know when you have to get down and dirty (Figuratively speaking).

Order of the day, I put on my uniform, how I look sexy in my uniform though, I'm falling in love with me. So here is a list of the items on my body, 1. Lingerie (I always wear lingerie to school, it makes me feel good) 2. Super short scotch maroon, white and black skirt 3. White short-sleeve shirt with black bow tie 4. Blazer (I always wear my blazer, be it winter or summer) 5. White knee height socks. Man, I work my school uniform, even my peers know that "Zara is fashionable"

When I got downstairs mom was preparing breakfast, my favourite (Bacon, eggs, fried tomato with toasted bread). Mom:"That's quite a short skirt you have on there young lady?" My mom is the worst, she annoys me all the time... Me:"Mom it's not that short, you're just over exaggerating. And besides, I'm a senior now so I need to look the part." Mom:"Honey, there is more to life than your beauty and a banging body. That will not get you anywhere in life." Now, as I was about to bite her head with an epic response, my dad walks in, "Talk about perfect timing." I whispered.

Dad:"Zara, that skirt is way too short for my liking. It's like it gets shorter every year..." Me:"Dad pleeeaaseee... not you also, I thought you were my number one fan?" Now, everyone knows that I'm daddy's little girl, he does everything for me. His my buddy and he knows we are buds. Dad:"Zara I think you should go change that skirt!" He said that with authority, now the is no way I can argue with dad when he uses his man voice. So I ran up stairs and wore my four fingers above the knee skirt and placed the other one in my schoolbag. There is no way I'm walking through the gates of Hoërskool Eramuskloof wearing this hideous piece of material.

When I got down stairs dad was ready to go, so I took my bag and we were on the road. Dad has always dropped me off at school so as he was approaching the school gate I saw "The guy" well if you did not know, there is this hot hunky guy I've loved since grade 9 but I never had the courage to tell him that, he always eyes me but I pretend not to be interested. We never get past hello and hey, so I don't know what's his deal. Me and my friends we call him "The guy"
